Troubleshooting

  • Missing listing? – For a featured listing, make sure it appears in the Listings > Active tab of your IDX Broker control panel. For supplemental listings, make sure they appear in the Listings > Supplemental section of your IDX Broker control panel and that the listing is set to “active” status.
  • Missing images? – Make sure the images for your listing appear in your IDX Broker control panel and make sure your Apple TV is connected to the internet.
  • Blurry images? – Use the “Bottom Info” template or the upcoming “Side Info” template if the your listing images are a lower resolution or quality than looks good on a 1080p display. Also avoid portrait orientation photos when using the “Full Screen” template.

Tips

  • How to quickly enter your IDX Broker API key – To save time entering your IDX Broker API key you can use the Apple TV Remote app for iOS. Here’s how:
    1. Install the Apple TV Remote app on one of your iOS devices.
    2. Using the same iOS device, login to your IDX Broker account, navigate to the Account > API Control tab, and copy the API key.
    3. Open the Apple TV remote app and use it navigate to the Settings screen inside of FeaturedDisplay. From there select the API key field and paste in the key.
